Since Big C and I are alone this week (Monkey is gone during the day) I asked him what he'd like to do. Since the steam train wasn't running, the O-train was the next best thing. We dropped off Monkey and were on our way. We bussed to the O-train and then took it heading ummmm, north I think. From there, we linked up with another bus towards mommy's office. We called ahead (to make sure that she didn't step out for lunch or anything) and met up. Big C ran over and gave her a HUGE hug. They both had ear-to-ear smiles.
After lunch, mommy took us to the escalators in a building nearby....for about 10 trips. Daddy checked out after about 3. We caught a bus towards home, then jumped off to catch the O-train again. What do you think was waiting for us......a badger! Nature is all over us right now. We finally arrived home, just in time to go pick up Monkey.
I'm sure that Big C will crash into bed at 6 again tonight.
Long live the lack of naps. I love how much night time sleep he's getting!

Hate to disappoint you... but that ain't a badger.
from one farm child to another...what the heck is it then? I would have said groundhog but I get overruled on such things.
Laugh if you must but it is actually a 'woodchuck'. More specifically a 'marmota monax'.
The badger is from a completely different family and is actually more closely related to skunks. Looks like this: http://greenforks.com/asset/greenforks/2009/04/badger-3.jpg
Don't you feel smart now? Score 2 for homeschooled farm kids... ;)
