The sun is out!
So what are we going to do?
Let's fire up an e-mail to our friends nearby and host a barbecue.
The Bussey's were in right away and E-man even came over to partake in our junk afternoon. The boys thoroughly enjoyed the sugar and then were off to the pool before the other guests were to arrive closer to dinner time.
They burned off the sugar well, once they decided to go into the pool. They started with 'you go in....no you go first...no, it looks too cold'.
Then once the first kid was in it turned into 'out of my way...no I was here first'
Here are the boys running around to get back in line and take their turns.
Then the biggest splash contest started.
Here's E-man's biggest splash into the pool.

I called it a tie, with plenty of style points to go around.
Soon enough the rest of the grown-ups and their kids showed up.
Saje made amazingly delicious fruity drinks to share and they were joyously consumed. I think that I counted 18 total grown-ups and kids at the peak. What a great way to spend a sunny afternoon. 
We hope that the weather co-operates and we can do it again soon!
