The First week back

First off, the boys are doing GREAT!
Monkey has received all 3 stickers each day so far this week! He's been a superstar at the before-and-after program and one of his teachers was sure to comment this week in front of him what a wonderful young man he is becoming. He was just breaming as she went on to say what a great role model he is and how helpful he is around the class. He has run over the door to greet me each day with three little triumphant fingers emphatically waving in the air. His self-esteem is soaring (in the words of the teacher) and he is just loving it. He'll be celebrating on Friday with several pairs of pirate underpants (his 'big' reward for the week). Woo hoo!
Big C has also been a little superstar. On Monday he had 'his best day in months' and has been loving the little train set, train puzzles and craft centres that they've had out this week. He was been actively playing in the back room of the preschool age program participating well and sharing with his friends. He comes home to report that a few of his friends are pushing and that things don't go well for them. He sees that he is behvaing nicely and that things go very well for him. We even made an impormptu stop at the donut store on Wednesday- he was thrilled! I'm all about praising and rewarding this wonderful behaviour.
I want to thank all of those out there who've been praying for these little guys to do well. Keep it up as I'm sure they both will!
