With Monkey away skiing with grandma and the weather being beautifully warm, it was time for the rest of the W's to head to the canal. After Saje scored FREE parking, we skated up and started out. Big C did really well to start and worked hard at his airplane with Saje. Soon enough it was time to put some miles behind us, so we loaded up Big C into the tofoggan and Saje put the strap around her waist and took off.
We started out fully bundled up, but as the skating got going, we quickly lost the outer layers.
After a few km we were passed by the police on ATV's and the snowplows. Big C was in awe.
We turned around after 4k and started to make our way back to the nearest post for BeaverTails.
Mmmm....
Saje and Big C did really well with the cold. Here's praying for several more wonderful winter days where we can all enjoy the fun outdoors.

Dear, all your hard work is paying off. You look fit and fabulous. Love, Moose.
I love Big C's remark to Monkey, when I bought them Beavertails. "A beavertail, when it's not attached to a beaver, tastes just like a doughnut." Much Love, Grandma C.
