This photo shows an absolute highlight of this tour for me! This photo shows a freshwater crocodile swimming up a creek in Yellow Waters and just hanging around. We could see her swimming with her tail swishing from side to side. It was so cool to see her out there in her natural habitat.
Next we drove to Gumlop and went for a (very crazy) hike straight up the side of a hill to a fabulous natural infinity pool.
When one is hiking in Australia it is very common to be doing so without the luxury of paths and guardrails. It really makes you wonder how half of these places were discovered in the first place! (The aboriginal people have always known about them).
The swimming was exceptional and the views were amazing!
It looks like Monkey is on the edge of the world. What an incredible place.
You can see the craziness of the "path" that we were walking on. Luckily no one fell.
Dave and the kids have been playing UNO to while away the travel time as we travel from one incredible place to the next.
