Day 10 - Monkey jumps off a bridge in Queenstown

Monkey is a risk taker. He loves roller coasters and stuff that makes any sane person think twice.

 So for his upcoming twelfth birthday it really only made sense that he should jump 43 meters (134 feet) off of Kawarau Bridge home to the world's first bungy jump. 

 They don't offer refunds and he knew it. He took a couple of days to be absolutely sure that he wanted to jump. He kept coming back with a resounding yes.

 So, what more can two parents do, but show up at the most historically significant bungy jumping place in the world and watch their first born son throw himself off of it.

As you'll see in the video he did not even hesitate. We had all watched a girl who said she had "worked for 4 months on a farm, saved up all of her money, prepaid for the jump and photo package..." back out in tears after getting to the edge 3 different times over 15 minutes.

Not this kid. He jumped. He loved it.
