We made the very intentional decision to stay local for the last term and not do any more family weekend trips. We have really enjoyed staying in town and doing the local fun stuff. This past weekend we attended Big Hero 6 being screened at the local sports stadium. They had awesome entertainment before the movie.
On Sunday we went cherry picking. Anyone who knows BigC knows that this will likely go down in infamy as being his favourite activity of the entire trip. We all ate about 5kg of cherries while we were picking.
We brought another 8kg of cherries home. I was initially a bit worried that with 11 days left before we leave the country this would be too many...but then I watched the rate at which they disappeared and quickly became concerned that we didn't have a sufficient quantity!!
