Ok, maybe not we really, but Monkey.
And maybe not a real dog, but the class mascot from his school.
Monkey arrived home today with Bernie, the class mascot in his JK class. He was overjoyed to show it to me when I picked him up and when we got home we read through the little set of instructions that came with him. Also, there is a dog dish to be filled with water, a bone for him to play with and chew on, a little blanket for him to sleep under and even a Clifford story for him to read to Bernie before they go to bed. I think that this was a wonderful way to transition back to school and it just happened to be his turn to have Bernie for the week!
