Manly Beach

Today was a transition day between our family weekend and our family camp at Royal Far West in Manly.  We had the early part of the day to ourselves and Dave and the boys hit the beach straight away while I delt with parking the car (parking in Manly is a hot mess of enormous proportions) and picking up some food stuffs for my upcoming two Spartan races.  Sydney is a far better place to pick up gels and chews.  Who would have thought that I would not be able to find that stuff in Mudgee??

A down day was exactly what the boys needed.  They dug and played and splashed.
We will need to be sure to build days like this in to all of our longer trips.  It was fabulous!

We have been told that the fish and chips in Manly are legendary.  We will need to get out there and see for ourselves!
