E-man's playdate

Today's weather forecast didn't lend to having soccer with the boys this morning, so we invited over E-man to come and play (his mama went to a movie with Small and was overjoyed).
The boys were SUPER well behaved. We had some open play time in between activities, but I thought that we'd be best served by having more than a few things on the go.
We started off making a helicopter (that I believe grandma and grandpa W sent to us??) while Big C played with the Playmobil airplane.
Monkey was super excited to build it with E-man and they both quickly took it up to his room for safe storage.
Next, we played some Crazy 8's - the Cars version. I recall that these came as part of a loot bag from their little friend Iam's party. Here are the boys checking out their hands

carefully choosing which ones to play
and having a great time. (I'm sure that these photos will resurface in about 20 years when the boys get together for a poker night).
After a light lunch, the boys and I decided to make cookies. The recipe called from oatmeal, raisin and chocolate chip. The boys asked if they could add raspberries and make them into 'RaCHAW' cookies. Why not?
Here they are hard at work washing the berries that they had pickedand then making up the cookies.

It was a wonderful morning with three wonderful boys.
