Grandpa and Grandma W's visit part II

On Wednesday we decided to take grandma and grandpa to the Museum of S & T for a little fun. We figured that some things had changed by now and we knew that the steam train would be running for the summer season.
Good news! The car exhibit had arrived - all about the Canadian Car Industry. It's honestly really, really interesting. The boys were into the Toyota that can take apart, reconstruct in a hundred different ways and even get into. Here's Big C and Grandma W having some fun.
We then took to the steam train and rode in the coopula. Grandma W went right up with the boys. When the ride was over there was a long line waiting to go next, so the boys asked if they could go up in the locomotive.
Why not?
So up they went and they did a great job of keeping their hands to themselves.
Grandma W, not to be left on the sidelines, took her turn next. She got right in there and didn't hold back at all. Way to go!
We finished off the museum by looking at the new 'coin spinny thing' which has every little boy mesmerized as the coins go around and around until they fall into the collection hole at the bottom. The thing's utter genius.
After a stop at the indoor trains we were off for home.
We spent Thursday playing some games at home, here's grandma W and Monkey having a game of LEGO soccer, and then hitting the splash pad to hang out in the sunshine. We ran into Small of tbf.ca and grandma and grandpa W rushed right over to say 'hi". Here's everyone setting up and here's Big C playing in a muckhole that he made by taking water from the splash pad over the to sand beside it.
All too soon grandma and grandpa were getting on their train and heading for home.
Hope to see you again soon. We miss you already.
