Today was the best!! We drove out to Smith Falls to see the Hershey Factory before it closes next year. We took a tour and, surprisingly, the machinery was running on a Saturday. That was really cool. Monkey was really impressed with the big vats "bathtubs" of chocolate. He also thoroughly enjoyed the videos of the chocolate being made.
The gift shop was a huge hit. Nick was like a (30 year old) kid in a candy store. Heidi came along with us on her way home and she bought each of the kids a Hershey canister truck thing that they both just love. It entertained Monkey for the entire trip home in Heather's car.
CC couldn't get over the selection of chocolate things and said that her mother would love this place (come on and visit soon, it is closing by the end of 2008). She picked up a couple of things to bring home.
