This morning we were awoken at 6:15 a.m. to the sound of the boat engines roaring. We had been warned of this 'alarm clock' by our captain last night, so fortunately we all all slept soundly and were ready to take in the day.
We were greeted by this beautiful sunrise.
And this mirrored view from the side of the boat when I stuck my head and camera very carefully over the edge. We stayed out of the water today and went on a long slow tour of the sound with commentary from the captain. This spot features a massive crack
All too soon it was time to take the bus to the boat to our car. We checked in to our holiday park and hit the park to chat with some fellow Canadian exchange teachers from Barrie who had just left Australia (what a small world)
Then we hit the beach accross the road. This kid was in his element.
Tonight's holiday park is a basic room with two bunk beds, linens and (you know it's going to be good when they specify this in the write up) a mirror. I'm going to admit, it's a sweet mirror!
