Thank you Grandma!!

Grandma stopped by early this afternoon with some wonderful gifts for the boys. Just a random grandma moment. She went into Monkey's room during his quiet time and showed him what she had brought. For Monkey, Lightning McQueen socks! How coool! He can wear them (and no doubt he will endlessly) at his before and after program. He was so excited he couldn't even say thank you or give her a hug, but then a few hours later after the excitement settled into more normal ranges and he called grandma to say a big thank you. The hug is on backorder and will arrive shortly.

For Big C - his own Pj's featuring 'Rookie Racer'. Monkey made a big presentation out of giving them to him and there was a little dancing involved. Ok, a lot of dancing. Some of it on the dancing table. Following the shower there was a fashion show for mommy where both boys were just beside themselves. I think that they'll get to sleep by midnight. Maybe.

Thank you grandma. The boys absolutely love them!

Oh, by the way, Monkey has stated that 'it was really nice to get Big C some pajamas, but grandma - he'll need socks now too'. Too much, just too much.
