Big C swore that he wasn't tired but was certainly slower to start at the beginning of the day.
Monkey took the city bus with mommy right to the doors of the school, which was quite a treat. He also requested that his hair be done in a 'faux-hawk' which mommy was more than happy to oblige.

With Monkey at school, Big C was off being a goof in the partially renovated basement. Some very gracious friends of ours arranged for some carpet to be delivered and it is in immaculate shape. We rolled it out onto the basement floor. Big C was exceedingly helpful. And by helpful I mean that he was running up and down the carpet roll while I was trying to unroll it.
He then made sure to dress up in an elephant costume and sit in his rocking chair to gain some more notoriety on the camera.
When Monkey arrived home he was totally worn out from a day at school and some play time in the park. He asked for some quiet time and was asleep within 5 minutes.
What a wonderful day for mommy to take some extra loving care for her little guys.
