The Restaurant Bathroom Situation

In my travels around this great country u have noticed a situation with bathrooms that I've never experienced in Canada.  Down this corridor, with no signage, is a door.

Below you can see where this door opens up in to a courtyard.

This little doorway off the courtyard iso the way in to the bathrooms.

The day I took these photos at this particular restaurant it was raining.  This is a NICE restaurant.   Guests may be wearing nice shoes, have their hair nicely done.  The whole bit. Restaurants all over Australia have their bathrooms outside like this.

We don't do that in Canada,  you know, because snow.
