The bedding is here, the bedding is here!!

Finally!! I ordered this bedding back when Kiersten was still living with us. The plan was that she was going to a wedding in the US and the bedding would ship to her there. She was supposed to bring it back with her to Canada and then back to our place.

Unfortunately, Kiersten got into a pretty bad car crash right before the wedding and she never went to the US. The bedding however, had already shipped.

So Kiersten's friends stepped in and brought the bedding back with them when they came back. The trouble is, Kiersten wasn't living with us anymore. Wasn't even living in this area code any more! We finally found a way to get some of my people close to where some of her people and the exchange was made. Her bike, for our bedding. The timer to the right of the blog was actually off by one day as a terrible tragedy stopped us from getting the bedding yesterday.

It is here now and he loves it!

Of course, with all of the focus of Big C there was no way that we could leave Monkey out. About a month ago I (Saje) snuck a reversible Lightening McQueen comforter in to the house and hid it under Mr I's bed.Monkey was absolutely thrilled for his brother and then super thrilled for himself. All in all. A great gift for the two of them.

We had to buy a full sized quilt since the twin has been discontinued. Is anyone good at quilting? Confident enough that they could take in the edges to make it smaller?
